This unique space was built in 1906 directly at the river Spree. Reknown as an icon of industrial architecture in Germany, the former power station is well preserved and almost in its original state. Since the cut-off in the 60s, the generating plant with its imposing hall is empty. Large windows and an iron roof with glass panels shed bright light into the hall. If necessary, it is possible to darken the hall. The 16m high, column-free machine hall has a size of approximately 2,150 sq. m. and features several skylights guiding you into the catacomb-like basement. A heightening on the level of 1m can be used as stage foundation. The former operations division is located directly above the balcony-like switchgear. With a size of 3,000 sq. m. the hall features several interesting internals and captivates a morbid charme.


The disused, under monument conservation industrial building, with its special cathedral architecture and well-preserved machine aesthetic, provides interesting designs and surfaces for film & photo productions, exhibitions, and product presentations.
