1. MASA Vegan Tacos at Alaska Bar 

When & Where: 7 pm July 16th at Alaska Bar, Reuterstraße 85, 12053 Berlin

The Alaska Bar is a new star on the horizon of the vegan food scene in Berlin. Since their opening a few months back, they have been hosting regular pop-ups with a huge variety of cuisines, ranging from Indian street foods, to vegan cheese-making workshops and even vegan haute cuisine.
The MASA Vegan Taco pop-up is a recurring event and now in its 3rd round. Whether you are vegan, paleo, flexitarian or simply a curious foodie, don’t miss out on trying their Mexican blue tortillas, that get filled with yummy vegan toppings and definitely keep an eye on any pop-up that is curated by the friendly Spanish folks over at Alaska Bar in Neukölln.

2. Food—Art Streetfood and Art Festival

When & Where: 18 – 19. July, Spreewerkstätten & Praegewerk, Am Krögel 2, 10179 Berlin

If you are looking for an unique and colorful food event this weekend and want to enjoy some art, culture and music as a side dish, we would recommend you paid a visit to the Food—Art. The festival will take place for the first time ever this weekend and in the industrial setting of an old money stamping press, a fascinating location next to the Spree where the Euro and the D-Mark were printed. Lots of open air food stalls, performances and installations to fill an entire weekend with bliss. There is a little entry fee of 3 €.

3. Ben & Jerry Open Air Movie Night (Berlin edition)

When & Where: 7 pm (film starts at 10 pm), 21. July at Malzfabrik Bessemerstraße 2-14, 12103 Berlin

There are three reasons to attend this Ben & Jerry’s pop-up event:
The first one, if you could not already guess, is the yummy-hummy free ice-cream, duh!
The second reason is that it will be a free and open air screening at the beautiful Malzfabrik.
And finally, the third reason being, that the film shown, Her with yummy-hummy Joaquin Phoenix, is an absolut must-see piece of celluloid and simply perfect to watch open air when accompanied by a loved one or alternatively a humongous jug of cookie-dough ice cream.

4. Laksa at Industry Standard

When & Where: every Tuesday from 6 pm at Industry Standard, Sonnenallee 83, 12045 Berlin

Laksa is a popular spicy noodle soup in the Peranakan cuisine, which is a combination of Chinese and Malay cuisine. Laksa consists of rice noodles with chicken, prawn or fish, served in spicy soup; either based on rich and spicy curry coconut milk, or based on sour asam (tamarind or gelugut). It can be found in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Southern Thailand. Now you got the chance to try this exotic dish at one of Industry Standards Tuesday pop-ups, which are highly praised by the foodie community from what we have heard.

5. The Hidden Backyard Dinner

When & Where: 8 pm 21. July, in a secret spot

Boris Lauser and his b.alive raw food concepts are definitely something new and creative, taking raw foods out of a dusty health-food store niche into the trendy world of food pop-ups and exquisite supper clubs. The upcoming pop-up is a hidden backyard dinner, where Boris will be serving 5 raw vegan courses, accompanied by fantastic wines and with an exclusive private performance by the world famous beatboxer Felix Zenger from Helsinki. Tickets are limited and can be bought here.
