We all love Pop-Up Stores, that’s for sure. Thilo Hertwig from the Box 16 Pop-Up Store in Berlin Mitte is one of them and there must be a reason when somebody like him is doing his second Pop-Up Store in Berlin in a row. He started at the Bikini Berlin Pop-Up Boxes and is now at Coup Space which he booked over PopUp Berlins Marketplace for Pop-Up Space. We talked to him about his Pop-Up Concept and the benefits of doing a Pop-Up Store.

MAKO is not only unique leather bags & shoes. Above all – it’s our unique Customers. Therefore, we focus on individualism – both in projects and relationships. MAKO is the simplicity of form with the characteristic details and the highest quality. We care about the perfect finishing to satisfy our challenging cusomers. That’s why we create our bags and shoes with craftsmen, who are masters of their profession. Each product is made from the highest quality, italian leather. DBAK: OUR TIMELESS COATS WITH CLEAN AND MODERN SHAPES WILL GET WOMEN PERFECTLY STYLED THROUGH THE CHILLY TIME UNTIL SUMMER AND STAY WITH THEM FOR MANY SEASONS. MERCY WOULD produces classic shapes in decent colors. We only choose highes quality standard materials, such as acetate from Italy and titanium from Japan.
Why did you choose to launch a pop-up shop?
But we know, that it’s difficult to present the real features and beauty of every single product only with photos on the internet. You need to feel the structure of the product, touch it and smell the characteristic scent of the leather or feel the touch of highest quality fabrics to fall in love with the products of our three brands
How did you choose the space?
We believe that Mitte is the best place in Berlin, where we can meet our potential customers. People visiting boutiques in Mitte are very conscious, they’re looking for unique design and appreciate the highest quality.
How do you keep the brand experience consist online and offline?
The simplicity of form is crucial for all of us. That’s why our projects, our online site, photos and the interior of the pop-up are always simple and pure. We’re building our brand on the satisfaction of our Clients. That’s why we care about the highest quality of Customer Service – both offline and online.
What do you like about the pop-up concept in general?
It’s always fresh for the Clients.
What is you advice for people planning to do a pop up shop?
Find the place where you can meet your consumers and don’t be afraid to take a risk and just start!
